Harmony Home and Community Care at the Source Kids Melbourne Expo 2024

This July, Harmony Home and Community Care had the fantastic chance to take part in the Source Kids Melbourne Expo. This event was all about bringing people, families, and professionals in the disability services sector together. As a reputable NDIS provider, we were thrilled to set up our interactive booth and connect with the community on the 5th and 6th of July, with our preparations meticulously completed on the 4th to ensure our readiness.

The Interactive Experience at Our Booth

At Harmony Home and Community Care, we place great value on the importance of engagement and interaction, which is why we meticulously curated our booth to be both interactive and welcoming. Visitors were greeted with a dynamic spin wheel offering various prizes, making their experience not only informative but also enjoyable. Adding to the excitement, we incorporated a selfie frame that not only provided a fun photo opportunity but also offered visitors another chance to win prizes by spinning the wheel again.

In addition, we introduced an interactive board that served as a creative platform for visitors to share their experiences with the NDIS. This interactive space allowed both attendees and healthcare professionals to pin their stories, insights, and journeys, showcasing the diverse and individual paths within the NDIS landscape while fostering self-expression and mutual understanding.

Embracing Diversity: Enriching Connections at the Expo

The expo was a bustling centre of interaction and learning. We had the pleasure of meeting a diverse range of remarkable individuals, from art therapists and aspiring NDIS sector entrants to seasoned industry professionals. Each conversation provided fresh insights and underscored the interconnectedness and devotion within this dynamic community.

A particularly rewarding aspect was the opportunity to reconnect with longstanding acquaintances of our organization, as well as establishing new connections with those we encountered for the first time. These interactions serve as a poignant reminder of the reasons behind our work at Harmony Home and Community Care, reinvigorating our dedication to delivering exceptional care and support to our community.
