If a participant’s condition prevents them from using public transportation without significant difficulty, they can typically get funding via the Harmony for transportation support. Funding takes into consideration any applicable taxi subsidy programmes, but it does not pay for caregivers’ transportation support to take a family member with a handicap to regular appointments. The following list outlines the three levels of support for transportation assistance. The three tiers are used to allocate participants’ transportation funds.
